Bea had a removable partial denture and came to us seeking implants. With our new Zirconia based bridge materials we were able to restore her smile without implants and give her a dazzling, non-removable smile.

I had an upper partial for about 20 years, and had nothing but problems with it. It had broken two or three times and it was ready to be replaced. I thought my only alternative was to have dental implants.

Anytime I smiled, I would put my hand over my mouth because I was embarrassed. It was because of how my teeth looked. I was missing four teeth on the upper arch, and with the partial that never fit right, I very seldom ever smiled.

In the past, I was always very concerned about going to a dentist. Like a lot of people from my generation, going to the dentist wasn’t always very accommodating. I had associated pain and fear with dentists, but I was so comfortable and at ease with Dr. Hedge and his staff.

When I met with Dr. Hedge, I explained my problem with the upper partial and my concern about dental implants. He told me that he could do bridges and explained how he would do it and I said okay. He actually put in two top bridges and a bottom bridge. They are attached to the teeth I had left.

My husband and I talked about the cost of doing this but what it comes down to is the fact that I’m worth it. I wouldn’t hesitate spending the money on something else, and it was a chance to have something that I really wanted for me. Besides, doing it has positively impacted my overall health of having my teeth basically perfect. I had a lot of problems with the partial because certain foods would cause them to break. Now I can chew my food and eat, and do anything I want.

My husband of 50 years thinks they are just beautiful and loves how they turned out. Friends think my new smile is just marvelous.

I thought if I couldn’t do the dental implants, my only resort would have been dentures and that really concerned me. I didn’t have to go that way. I never have to take them out. They are my teeth.

My teeth are just so beautiful. I smile all the time now. The top teeth are now porcelain veneers. They are perfect and white. Dr. Hedge also whitened my lower teeth and it all matches wonderfully. I feel a lot more confident than I did before.

I unfortunately was a victim of a negligent dentist when I was a child, so I have terrible memories of going to the dentist. I was doing some research on the web and came upon his name and read about his background and what type of atmosphere his office promotes.

While I was reading the information, I just thought it sounded too good to be true. But, I really needed some fillings replaced so I made a phone call. When I called into the Dental Health Center his staff was terrific and extremly helpful while I discussed my past misery at the hands of a bad dentist. They explained how pain-free it would be and they were confident I would be satisifed. I cannot say enough nice and positive words regarding Dr. Hedge and his staff. Today I had my second filling replaced and I was busy watching TV, and Dr. Hedge had to tap me on the shoulder to let me know he was done. Now that’s a painless trip to the dentist!

My husband, Ed, and I feel that by being referred to Dr. Hedge when we moved to Cincinnati we found the perfect combination of a state-of-the art dental practice along with a group of caring professionals who listened to our dental concerns. We were thrilled to have a dental team that provided us the confidence, professional treatment, and expertise to help us through, not only normal dental needs, but, had the ability to take our dental health to a new level. Not only is there a close connection to the staff but the environment of the dental office is warm, inviting, and (almost) makes you glad you have a dentist appointment! Little things such as being able to watch the ceiling-mounted TV while your teeth are being worked on; or, having the staff ask which video you’d like them to have ready when you’re facing an extremely long and tedious procedure go a long way as calming techniques.

Good dental health is extremely important to our family and we have found a caring partner in Dr. Hedge and his excellent team to help us achieve this goal.

My family and I have been with Dr. Hedge almost since we moved here 9 years ago. My wife and I have always appreciated the excellent service. Dr. Hedge has seen our kids through braces, from kids to young adults, and we appreciate the time he has spent guiding them the right way. This was no more evident than when Dr. Diers wanted to crack Bryan’s (my oldest son) jaw when he was to receive braces and Dr. Hedge strongly advised against it. Turned out to be the correct move. I have wanted a great smile since I was young, and after a lot of contemplating about which dentist to use, the best time to have the work done, and the affect it might have on me psychologically if I did not like my new smile, I finally decided to pull the trigger in June 2006 and get a full mouth revitalization (all new crowns).

At the beginning of my research, I narrowed my search to dentists in Atlanta and Los Angeles (as a frequent flyer with well over a million miles, the location did not matter to me. I just wanted the best). It seemed like all the dentists websites had similar before and after photos, and boasted of the latest technology and exceptional service. How was I going to choose a dentist to trust with the work because there could be no going back if I did not like the end result, i.e., a bad smile? Then I came across Dr. Thomas Hedge from Cincinnati. I was most impressed that Dr. Hedge teaches other doctors in the cosmetic dentistry field, and his office manager, Corine Leech, also lectures and writes articles. It made sense to me to cut to the front of the line and go directly to the team respected by their peers.

At our first meeting, my concern was not the cost (I had already made up my mind) but the design of my smile. Would care and consideration go into designing my smile versus the standard crowns that look like Chiclets? To my surprise, Dr. Hedge focused on a perfect design for me personally and he fully understood my desires (which I am sure is true for all his patients). I was also impressed with his high level of expertise in technology, both for dentistry use and personal use, since that is my field also. I never realized how much technology went into jaw muscle relaxation, bite alignment, and gum laser contouring, to name a few of the additional services I had. My wife even got two new crowns to replace her old silver crowns; done in just one visit!

Looking back, I wish I had done this many years ago because my new teeth feel and function just like my old teeth, and it is like I have always had these teeth. I get compliments often, I have more confidence, and I feel satisfied that my goal of having a great smile can be checked off. Whether you can pay cash or have to borrow the money and make payments, you will never regret that you chose Dr. Hedge to give you a great new smile of your own.
